How can you participate??? There are 2 ways!
1. Just join in the line of boats and cruise the Mississippi River with us in your “Pirate Ship” All participating “Ships” MUST be decorated in the Pirate theme! Let’s Show them how Minnesota can REALLY do a boat parade!
2. Be a spectator! Watch from one of the many local parks bordering the Mississippi River. We will put a list of them out as the route takes shape!
The parade will travel from the Anoka area up the river to Ramsey/Dayton area then turn back down river to Champlin/Coon Rapids area and back to Anoka. The exact route will come closer to the parade time (Depending on river levels)
More details to come!
We are NOT charging to participate in the parade but we are asking for donations to benefit the Trumpeter Swan Society, based right here in Minneapolis through the Three Rivers District! Just click on the Donation area! Our swans love the Mississippi as much as we do!
